Hi Bradlou, it is quite common for scar tissue to raise issues, in most cases this is all it is and not a reoccurrence but its always best to be on the safe side hence the biopsy and scan. All the best .

This happened to me as well, as I had what my consultant called an indeterminate amount of take up on the PET scan, however he did not biopsy as he said when he looked with the camera all looked ok. I have had another MRI in between and I’m back to see him on Monday for an eight week check.
