Happy New Year to one and all.
Just re-reading the responses to my question posed last year regarding taking Fortisp on to an aeroplane. I had 3 replies that said it was ok to put into the hold of a plane. In the end it went as hand luggage, but this year I am extending my holiday and really want to put it into the hold. Does the advice I received still stand ? Will it freeze in the hold but be ok to use once thawed ? As the holiday is to Egypt, I don't think Howeward (my supplier) deliver to that destination.
As always, thanks in advance to anyone who can provide help/advice.
Hi
I don’t know about Fortisips but I’ve travelled all over the place packing toiletries and wine in hold luggage and it’s never frozen.

Hi Ackerdsa, i always put my Ensures in the hold and have never had any troubles with them, i just put a case of them in my suitcase and forget about them. If you are really worried you can get powdered supplements which you can mix with water or milk your dietitian should be able to help, its a bit more hassle to mix but it tastes ok and is equivalent to Fortisips /Ensure. All the best,
Chris
Hi I flew last year and ensures and fortsips went into hold and were perfectly ok
