I am due to have a neck dissection on the 8th January but I have a slight chest cough and it just won’t go away.
Would they still carry out the op if it doesn’t clear? I am very worried as they said that they fitted me in for the op as soon as they could.
Hi Michael, I would give the hospital a ring and also see your Dr for some antibiotics. The main concern is for the anaesthetic and breathing . They might still go ahead but worth checking . All the best
