  • My heart goes out to you Lisamarie, reading the first part was bad enough as I suffered from pulmonary oedema myself in 1994 so I know how bad that is but then the rest, so sad.

I truly hope your team can come up with a plan to keep you around for many years, wishing you all the best and sending a virtual hug; will honestly be thinking about you on Tuesday, I've put you on the calendar over my desk so I don't forget.

This bloody thing leaves me speechless at times in its cruelty.

Hi Lisamarie. So shocked and so sorry to read your news. I remember your posts on this forum soon after I joined. Gutted for you and your family for whom this must be a terrible time of waiting. However, see what is offered by way of treatment - modern medicine is a wonderful thing and you may be surprised what can be done.

Thoughts with you for Tuesday and beyond
