  • Hello Thomas, what a lovely birthday preset to get!

Obviously I'm not in the same as you as I didn't have the MS to cope with as well but I do know a bit about it through family and a very close friend so I feel for you.

The RT/chemo is tough, I could write a book on it and might still not cover things that'll happen to you. My advice would be at this stage to read through a few of the threads on here and maybe a blog or two (mine is linked below), then keep coming back and asking things as and when they happen. We could real off hundreds of scenarios here and maybe some would frighten you without cause.

Good to hear you have strong family around you, I think a lot of the time it's harder for them than it is for us patients; finally you'll be amazed how quickly the weeks fly by now it's under way.

Good luck and ask anything, there's no such thing as a stupid question.
