Feeling apprehensive this morning, having my PEG fitted, don’t know why I am so worried about this.
Hi.
My husband had a RIG similar to a PEG 2 weeks ago. It wasn't nearly as scary as he had expected and he hasn't had any real problems since. He isnt using it at the moment (2 weeks in radiotherapy to tonsils/lymph node) and took some persuading to have it. However speaking to people in the radiotherapy waiting area who don't have one, all wished they had gone for it and I am certain it will be very useful down the line
Good luck!

I would encourage anybody who is offered a PEG or a RIG to have it, even if you don't need to use it, you will be glad to have it if needed. I had a RIG and I'm so glad I did, I was totally reliant on it for about 10 weeks. All the best to you all.
Regards Ray.
