I noticed inflamed papilla at the back of my tongue, i booked an appointment with GP on 10, but my anxiety and panic is kicking in and i am becoming certain that it is cancer
i do have oral thrush for long , and it kept the area covered till now
i think these papillae are there for more than an year
does any one have experience of inflamed papillae and swollen lymph nodes?
Hello Sridhar, I know nothing about the papilla so cannot comment to much about it, not everything turns out to be cancerous even though the symptoms are the same , this is where Dr Google has its down fall. All of this could well be linked to worry and stress as it does sometimes . So maybe once you have been seen you should have a clearer picture , hopefully its a simple explanation . Good luck with your appointment , take care .
Chris .
