Hi advice again please My hubby seems confused thugs that would never worry him is and it’s as if his personality has changed he’s not got a infection would you say it’s the treatment he’s had thanks in advance again Chris what do you think ray
Good evening deebo , I think some of it could be that you both have been used to going to appointments , surgery , radiotherapy etc and now you are left on your own to cope with the after effects. It could also be side effects from any drugs he is taking ( if any ) My personality changed after and it was quite noticeable and I strongly believe it is just the treatment that causes this . How long ago did he have his last check up as it might be worth mentioning to them if he does not improve . Best wishes .

Hi Deebo the treatment is harsh and brutal as I know from 35 rads and chemotherapy.the 6 week period after treatment finished we go from seeing several medical people daily in a bubble world to being at home free from the hospital but also free from the routine of hospital appointments often several in one day to all of a sudden nothing. He will be feeling tired lonely wondering has the treatment worked and no amount if what ifs scenario s in his head. But like Ronnsays maybe a g p visit as although I didn’t get depressed it is quite common in our cancer .
hope this helps so you have access to a Macmillan nurse if so use her
