I have just received an Email from a Jimmy at Macmillan's Community something about well-being tips, is it a scam? if so can someone that knows report it as I can't see how to.
Not a scam, completely legit, Jimmy is one of people at Macmillan responsible for running the community.
Metastatic SCC diagnosed 8th October 2013. Modified radical neck dissection November, thirty-five radiotherapy fractions with 2xCisplatin chemo Jan/Feb 2014. Recurrence on larynx diagnosed July 2020 so salvage laryngectomy in September 2020.
When I first saw them I was very suspicious too - I tend to avoid emails that look 'friendly' but are from people I don't recognise. I would be more likely to read it if it came from 'Macmillan Cancer Community Update'; even if that does sound more stuffy!
Hi Jimmy can't find original messageļ you sent me.
Thank you for yout quote and best wishes they were much appreciated.
