Hi, I was diagnosed four years ago at 36, back and fourth to docs for two years previous to be told it was all in my head! Ended up in a and e with food lodged in my throat twice so they had to believe me. I had chemo and radio but it never worked so had surgery (PLO surgery) never wanted surgery but wanted to live! Had numerous complications but got through it all, it does get easier with time and you learn to adapt to your new way of living. Unfortunately my cancer retuned, iv had more chemo and radio, the tumour has shrunk but has spread to a lymph node, I'm getting scan in few weeks to see if there's any changes but I remain positive. I reaseach different medicines all the time and ask my oncologist about them. It's a tough road but you're not alone.

  • Thanku I’m sooooooo scared and feel tearful I’m trying to stay positive and god do I want to live . What oil are you talking about may I ask ?

It's an awful situation to be in I cried so hard not wanting the surgery knowing what was ahead of me  but surgery was my only option at the time, it has been a struggle but I sit today proud of myself of how far I have come and I will continue to beat this disease! I have beat it twice before, il do it again! Try and eat as much as you can get the weight on you, I lost bout two stone even tho I had a feeding tube in, I still struggle to gain weight. Try to make your home life stress free as possible and have good support from family.
