Hi
Have been diagnosed and starting treatment after Boxing Day they are using R-CHOP treatment my cancer is in my stomach and spread to the chest they tell me that is quite common with this form of F Lymphoma
They tell me my first chemo session will last between 6 and 7 hrs and I will be stopping in hospital for at least overnight then I will have Chemo as an outpatient in three 3 week cycles
Just wondered if anyone can give me an idea of what to expect I know the hair loss etc just wondered how I will be feeling in the days after treatment
Any useful information for me and my wife we would be grateful
........ a living legend !!!!!
Fred,
Just remember that you have ‘done it ‘
Take it easy now - one step at a time. I am sure it will get easier.

Hello Fred,
Headaches are quite normal, I had them and my nurse said they will stop. By leg ache do you have a pins and needles sensation? Mine varies from day to day, yesterday for example I spend all day in London as my youngest son was running the marathon, for 2 hours I stood with very little movement and when I did I fell over, was more embarrassed than hurt, as someone started shouting that there was a man who collapsed, I was however ok and got up after a good laugh, just to show I was ok.
Today I went for a 3 mile walk and my pins and needles even now are all the way up my legs, I also have a massive lump under my right armpit as well as swollen glands in my groin and more pins and needles in my left hand.
Ain't life fun LOL.
Not had the pins and needles at all, just the fatigue no swelling apart from my left side (spleen) but that has reduced down but not gone completely
Ì had a busy day yesterday washed and waxed the car and a bit if gardening I was absolutely shattered come the afternoon but I feel progress being made
Good luck Peter wish you well
Fred,
Washed and waxed your car, I feel shattered just reading that, I've been taking our car to our local hand car wash, its the bending over that causes me trouble I normally fall over.
Off for another walk shortly as this is definitely the best exercise for me at the moment.
Hello gang on second treatment as we speak did any of you have your voice change weird feeling lol but all going fabulous well thanks clecker
Did you put on the wrong pants this morning, sorry, I just could not resist it lol

Hi all,
Well that’s cycle 6 done and dusted for me
Now to sit back and wait for the side effects to kick in - lol..........
PET/CT scan booked for the end of the month and then it is fingers crossed time
Enjoy your weekend - guess it’s a Bank Holiday weekend for you? We had our day off on Wednesday - not very helpful if you want a long weekend.........
Back to work for me on Monday - provided the side effects allow.
Nicky
