Thank you Greenery very positive story. Positivity will let us beat this disease. Keep well and safe everyone x
Hi I have been taking this for 14 months now and diarrhoea was my greatest side effect but the loperamide helped. As my tumour markers got better the diarrhoea improved. I take an ant sickness daily and that helps. With all the other injections I get some joint ache tiredness. But have been working from home since last September. The oncologist very happy for the moment and so am I.
Thank you for your reply. I am trying to stay strong, but still coming to terms with the diagnosis. When did the diarrhoea start for you? X x
How are you getting on with treatment?
Thank you so much for asking.
I’m on week 4. Fatigue is a real challenge. Have been struggling with nausea and a couple of boats of diarrhoea for about 3 days a week but hoping this will settle soon. No hair loss yet.
I’m just so anxious that it may not be working so I am just hoping 3 month scan shows a positive response. Hard to stay positive until I have this little bit of hope to grab onto.
How are you getting on?
Good Tumour markers have been normal last 3 months. I am always tired just rest listen to your body. No hair loss just a little thinning but I do get a sore scalp. Just put lots of oils in the scalp it helps. I also think it has something to do with age and menopause. Diarrhoea should settle. Anxiety with scans will always be there. Take an anti sickness daily I find that helps. Avoid heavy meals Kate at night. Drink lots of peppermint tea. Stay brave and have a good cry when you want you will find it helps x
