Hi there, what would you recommend for this? In advance of rads starting, I’ve tried Aveeno, not for me, red itchy rash. Anything else super mild? I’m an almost blue/white skinned redhead. Still have blue boob after SLNB blue dye during op 5 weeks ago, Smurf boob.
Hello, I have very sensitive skin and reactive too. Also history of eczema so need to be careful with what I use. These products worked great for me. Only got slight pink on my breasts and I had radiation to both little breasts. All from Avene, a French brand. Fragrance free and super gentle. If you Google Avene it will tell you all about their mission or can just watch on YouTube.
the products I used were Tolerance extreme cleansing lotion ( is a no rinse formula but I gently rinsed off in shower), Cicalfate Restorative protective cream and Avene thermal spring water spray(kept in fridge and used as often as I wanted. So refreshing and felt wonderful). I still use the products today on my face and body as needed if my skin acts up). Also had a tube of hydrocortisone with calendula by procure on hand as I had occasional itch from radiation and this worked right away.
I was apprehensive about radiation as my skin sunburns easy. With you being a redhead super sensitive for sure.
Good luck with everything.

Hi
I used Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Deep Moisture Comfort Balm - 300 ml
Others have used Moo Goo or Flamigel RT
if you type moisturiser in the search bar at the top of the page you will find lots of threads with people’s recommendations
Take care
Thanks everyone! I’m going to try cheap and cheerful E45 first. It’s readily available in Spain where I live. The MooGoo Udder cream can only be shipped from UK but this is problematic after Brexit unless I can find myself an Udder Cream mule?! Avene is also available here, will give that a try too. I’m going to be so well moisturised!
I've been using Aveeno cream for massage and bio oil, both unperfumed seem to do the job. Whatever works is good for you. Hope I can get my radiotherapy, my son is here and has Covid. His carers didn't spot it it's so mild with all the protection. Fingers crossed.
Hope yours had the least side effects, the skin issue is the least of our problems but the only bit we can access. Learning how to love this body finally. I think this cancer happened or showed up when I was psychically drained. I read Anita Moorjanis book, Dying to be Me'. Makes a lot of sense. I will be very disappointed if I have to delay. Xxxxx
