Hi everyone, does anyone know where I could get some information on this type of breast cancer? It’s hard to find out much about it, although it is acknowledged that it exists on all the main reputable UK sites (including the Lobular Breast Cancer Charity). Really wish that I’d had a double mastectomy now, as I don’t trust mammogrammes. Is it two tumours jumbled into one, or two separate tumours? Mine was 34mm on MRI, mixed lobular and ductal. After chemo, there was no lobular, and 9mm residual ductal. I had a mastectomy. Realise this affects a small group of people, but any input would be welcomed!! Thank you

  • Oh dear. Yes I will. My second tumor is very rare apparently so I’m going to ask about that. Tubular. Although it was only 4mm it had 5mm of dcis. My larger tumour was 8mm with 1mm if dcis.  So I was graded stage 1 grade 1 as both under 1cm

I will be asking if it makes a difference why there are two different types and does  that make a difference to re occurrences. I also want to know if they both had the same er/pr results. As I’ve just been told mine is Er. But not what numbers they are x
