Hello
I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?
Hey special girl. Sorry to hear about the second surgery. It's a journey of discovery for sure. I had a cyst on my left. So maybe the mas on right and lumped on left. They will check everything and if needs be another can come later.
You have got the best attitude to approach this...and it's tackling one thing at a time!! Don't think to far ahead or it will overwhelm.
Yup staying overnight. Did you have to stop eating before the op. I am so not good without food. That would so be a challenge in itself.
Waiting on my child to get xray and seen by doc for his fractured wrist. Will think of you on the 12th. Funny enough I am looking forward to GA. Prob get the best sleep ever since diagnosis!
Grade 2, her2 and er positive. I so hate the idea that the lump is feeding off my ER. Grrrr!

I wish I had done the same as you and insisted they took it out first . I was just not in a good place at all so got swept along with what they wanted . Is yours triple negative as well ? I wonder now if I should go back and challenge it or is it too late ? Xxxx
I had asked the question what if I don't respond the chemo well and then what? They then said you can opt for surgery then continue back with chemo. Obviously have to have evidence to back this non response....this was what I was told anyway.
Please don't feel bad about the journey you're on Harleybear, you are doing so well...after your treatment you will then feel you have come such a long way. No I am not triple negative. It may be you're advised so based on your diagnosis is my guess.
If in doubt, check with your doctors. They know best. I actually rang urgently to my surgeon in a mad panic as I could not just go into it without her consult. I am lucky to have her so understanding of my wishes.

Hi your grade and er and her2 snap lol I don't think the pr is considered to much but who knows. Yh last I could eat and drink was 6am on the morning of the surgery. Its crazy cuz all you seem to dohen is think about food lol. GA was fab proper sleep. One minute they was talking about my favourite things and prepping me lol then next they was waking me lol I think my surgery was 4 hours. I hope your little one is okay. I had no drains, so that helped alittle here anytime xxx

Your surgery will be fine what is the size of the area. You will heal amazingly. It's so hard thou to not want to vacuum or dust lol but you must not. Rest and heal, strict orders okay lol. As long as your are drinking loads your body is okay but small meals good albeit I am emptying the fridge constantly lol. I was in overnight and then went back for wound checks and could phone if I had any concerns. You will have a dye injected to identify your sentinel lymph nodes, and they will remove so many to test for histology. Now get looking for a fun wig Christmas is coming and time for fun xxxx
Yes that's what I was told too Harleybear, just preparing for chemo to start had antisickness and steroids and trying cold cap.
Let us know how you get on with cold cap . I think you are very brave giving that a try I couldn’t face it xxx
It's actually ok, you get use to it. Even with it and having EC could Still lose my hair x
