  • Hurrah and well done for finishing chemo! It’s a good feeling despite knowing there’s still a few SEs to come over the next couple of weeks. How lovely to get to ring the bell…I didn’t do maybe I’ll go find one at home!

Happy healing, enjoy the time away from treatment and yes, let’s nail surgery, whatever comes after that and then finally moving on xx

  • Thank goodness your test came back negative my cousin had breast cancer, so maybe it is genetic, I’m hoping it’s not, I dread to think my daughter has to go through that. I don’t understand why they didn’t mention it earlier, I was diagnosed in January!

I’ve finished chemo, which did shrink my lump, but not as much as they thought, so I need lumpectomy and RT too. Hope your test come back negative too xx

  • Well done for finishing Ruby, Dawnie and any others... Must be such a relief. Good luck with the last round of SE.

  • Hi

I'm feeling relatively OK thank you. After tomorrow, fingers crossed,  I'll have 3 more to do....not that I'm counting!!!!!

Hope your fatigue eases up and your rash clears quickly. My eyesight has definitely suffered while on chemo too. Has your taste come back yet? I can't wait for the day to tuck onto things and they taste normal!!!

congratulations on finishing chemo! I can't wait to ring that bell!

Sending best wishes to everyone else who's just finished, on the middle or just started the chemo journey

    Take care

  • I can sleep sometimes. I must be knackered because I can’t usually in public. Last week was quieter and I was out in 4 hours which was great. I go for bloods on Wednesdays. I’m not far from the hospital so it’s easier. This has been my worst week so far. Nothing dramatic but more discomfort in tummy, more fatigue etc. I hope this isn’t going to be the pattern but have my suspicions. The good news is that at 6 weeks I have reached halfway so I’m pleased about that. How are you feeling?

  • Hi Lynne,

Thank you for the good wishes for surgery. Good to hear you recovered well.

I finished chemo on the 10/6. I had less SE after my last chemo and am feeling good now. I have had one round of Herceptins only with minimal SEs.

Wishing you all the best with your recovery.

  • Hi Anne,

    Hi Bluebell,

I start my Herceptins in three weeks, just wondering how you felt afterwards? I’ve struggled a bit with the Trastuzamab transfusion, makes me feel a bit yuck when it’s going in.

Not too long for surgery now, I hope you’re not too anxious.

  • Hi NBI,

Who knows what things will be like in August regarding self isolating!

At least the cold cap had some effect. Hopefully more will come back soon.
