Morning,
I am going to start my chemotherapy in the next few weeks, can anyone tell me of some side affects they have had ?
Have a look at the Macmillan site against what treatment you are having. They list the side effects. You may get some of them. I’ve found people have different levels of side effects. Some get hardly any. I’ve had full hair loss, a bit tired, aching limbs. But my main side effect has been my digestion. It’s been the worst aspect. However, if you get side effects which you find difficult, just tell your team because they will help. I didn’t suffer for long and it was only so they could try different meds. The most recent ones have made my digestion almost perfect again. So always keep the communication with your Breast care nurses. And overall, try not to worry. I’ve just finished all my chemo and you can get through it. There are some days which are better than others but overall, it can be done. Let us know how you get on and use this forum if it helps because we are here to support each other. Take cafe
