I don't really know how to start. On the whole I cope reasonably well since being diagnosed last November with Breast Cancer. It was found by chance, very early.......and then came the HR2 positive part. I've had a lumpectomy followed, so far by 3 rounds of Chemotherapy, with the 4th in 2 weeks and I can cope with that. I think! Every so often I hit my personal brick wall and that's when I don't know what to do. The Chemo will be followed by radio therapy. but no idea when that starts or how many I have to have. I think that it is harder when one is one ones own and unsure. I hate the expression "it is what it is" but it is:)
I also have to inject Filgrastim for 5 evenings 4 hours after Chemo and for me, that is the 'killer'. The pain from the apparent boost to my immunity goes through every bone in my body including my gums! Yuk.
I know there are so many many people much more sick than I am which makes me feel a little guilty to be bothering/boring you all.............
Be better, stay safe and we will get through.
