    1. Hi I'm new I'm also scared anxious every emotion you can think of. I had a lumpectomy with 2 lymph nodes removed last week I was told originally stage 1 grade 3 but obviously that could change.Go back on th 8th for my treatment plan. Could someone please help me to get some positivity out of this x
  • Hi look at this you already had surgery , you are in early stage , grade 3 and you already on your treatment. Do you know your Her2 status? I have the same diagnosis and my her2 positive , iam expecting lumpectomy on 12 th of March. We cant change what we have , take one step at the time . After your surgery you will have some time off from future treatment. You not alone , we all the same here with different diagnosis but we still move on with our life. Good point that cancer it’s curable and this difficult period will pass. I hope you find my msg supportive and remember text any time you need even just to feel you not alone. X Zana

Hi Annna.  Thank you for your lovely response.  It’s comforting to know I’m not alone. X

  • It's easy to say don't be terrified but I know u will be. My experience in the hospital they are so professional and put you at your ease. I had to walk to the operating theatre I did not think I would be able but do you know it was quite pleasant. I felt so safe and supported. If someone had said this to me before I went in I would not have believed it but the NHS docs and nurses and the Macmillan nurses are just so remarkable no medal would be good enough for them. So rest and believe you are not alone and although you are terrified put yourself in their hands they will show you the way. Hugs from me and please believe me. I was terrified a week ago and this support group did so much for me.

  • I'm so happy I have found this support group thankyou so much to you all xx
