Hi there
Has anyone tried hypnotherapy to help with coping and changing mindset to think / feel positive? I've used hypnotherapy before for other life issues and it works really well for me.
Was looking for recommendations, as there's obviously a million hypnotherapists out there, but would like to work with someone who has worked with those affected by cancer.
Many thanks in advance for any help with this.
Helen
Hi Helen. I do clinical hypnotherapy once a week on a Thursday. It is run by the cancer charity Penny Brohn. The one I do is online and a group session so it is general. Last week was about pain management and it has really helped. I am not sure if they do individual sessions but Janey who does them is very well qualified and they do lots of other courses as well. If you live near Bristol you can go into their center for treatments. I found it has definitely helped me.

Thanks very much for your reply Lee. Glad you're getting something from it, it definitely works for me!
I'm looking for something pertinent to me and my situation, so need a 1:1 and Bristol is a bit far - I'm in Derbyshire :-)
Thanks again and good luck x
