Diagnosed at 75 after finding lump but passed the age of routine screening . Finding great information on breast cancer pages but can’t find one for older folk as we can have slightly different problems mental and physical to cope .
Good morning....
I don't think there's a specific group for over 60 ' s but try the Awake thread as many of the contributors are over 60 and several have had bc more than once so there is lots of experience. There is a lot of empathy too.
I was 62 when diagnosed with TNBC but that was over 10 years ago now and my mammograms have been clear since. I wish you well with your treatment.
Take care
Hi moomy, sorry to hear about your reoccurrence hope treatment going well though us oldies have hiccups in treatments at times but hope you do not. I recently got diagnosed with non melanoma skin cancer though not a sun lover but supposed age has something to do with it.. as they say ‘with age comes wisdom ‘and a whole lot of other things. Take care, onwards and upwards
