Cold capping. Any additional tips on trying to keep some hair? ‍♀️

I have had 7 sessions of Paclitaxel (5 more to go) and I’ve cold capped so far with great success and minimal hair loss, just a bit of shedding.

I’ve been using Daniel Fields cold cap booster products and simple shampoo and conditioner. I also brought a silk pillowcase which I love.

overall I’ve been ok, my legs ace and I’m starting to they tired more easily but nothing to really complain about.

I’ve been washing my hair twice a week, on the day of chemo after cold capping and then at the weekend.

its not been anywhere as bad as I expected thankfully

So pleased for you,  this is what I needed to hear today to stop me focusing on worse case senerio. Thank you  

It is really daunting, fingers crossed you do ok. Be kind to yourself, rest when you need to but also do what feels right. I’ve still been working and socializing. The recent sunshine has helped x

How are you feeling? 

The same as you really pretty good post operation & life is ok so far but I am just a little less energetic!

Hi, I've had 3 cycles of EC,  done the cold cap, had thinning, but so far, it's not all gone. Washing once a week, hoping it stays over next cycles with different drug.

Has anyone had it fall with change of drug?
