Work have sacked me while I'm in the kadcyla stage, told them I would be back this year, anyone else been sacked while receiving treatment?
Hi Bob88 so sorry to hear your news - I would advise you to speak to McMillan and Acas. They can give you advice and check you have received everything you are entitled to. Especially if it is unfair dismissal. Wish you luck . And please look after yourself

Hi, in the UK it would be unfair dismissal for your employer to fire you due to your cancer diagnosis , or absence due to cancer treatment. I agree with the others, give Macmillan a call on 0800 808 0000 for some advice, speak to your trade union if you have one, or to your HR department. Best wishes
