Is any else having problems getting the brand of Letrozole they are prescribed.?I really cannot tolerate anything but Accord, and in the six years l’ve been taking it l’ve tried everything brand there is!
Pharmacies can no longer specify a brand ,they can only order Letrozole and see what turns up.My designated pharmacy returned my prescription and l have tried other pharmacies in vain today. Most admit they are only getting the cheaper brands.
Tomorrow l will try further away,Perhaps an independent pharmacy can help?
Yup! Cipla was the first one I was given at the hospital, and my fingers made a cracking sound after 3 days!
I'm having problems today getting letrozole pharmacy said it's getting real expensive to get now as it's gone up to 54.00 a pack so not been able to order it
Hi I'm also having trouble getting letrozole prescription today my pharmacy said it's getting to expensive gone from 1.00 to 54.00 per pack got enough for July but don't know what I'm going to do after that
I’m on Letrozole 2.5mg made by Amarox (currently). I have noted a change in the make every time I get a new prescription! I have only just realised that just maybe my constant stiff neck could be related to the tabs. Am awaiting X-ray…assumed it was old age or a strain…food for thought…I always order letrozole again within a week of picking up my prescription….
WOW! I have a pal with blood cancer and his daily tablet is £254, each tablet!
Not according to NICE.
My pharmacist showed me this on his screen about the price your right they where 1.03 but now 54.00 that was from yesterday and no pharmacist cannot order them
Are they now coated in gold dust?
l was unable to source any Accord for 3 months, and ended up with so many aches and pains l was ready to give up.
This month l did find an elusive packet - what a difference! But now it’s time to order again and so it goes on.
I'm waiting a call back from my breast care nurse .. will see what they suggest x
