Just thought I'd ask as we all seem to be having injections of one thing or another, it's hard to keep up.. Or is that just me
Hi Seaside
I'm glad to hear that you're feeling good today. I'm feeling okay too today, but I only started to feel okay since day 15/16. Like you, it was my 2nd EC cycle.
My next EC cycle is next Tues 12th.
I've not long got back from seeing my consultant today (took over 2 hours just in waiting time!) She's now says that I will have to have at least 4 cycles of EC rather than 3, before I start on the docetexal ,
She did add that the tumour has responded well and has shrunk, so that's good. I'll have to try and focus on that positive.
Hope you carry on feeling good till to your next EC cycle.
Take care.️

Sending hugs. I have a scan next Tuesday to see what the current situation is after 2 cycles.
Hang in there just a day a a time xxx
Hi Thumper. Positive news the tumour has shrunk. Its a long haul but hopefully one more EC should do the trick before the docetaxol starts.
I am still doing okay but stomach a bit funny with indigestion but got the Rennie ready.
Stay strong and hang in there. Sending hugs xxx
Hope you feel better tomorrow. Sending hugs xxx
Thanks Jebe
Do you start your docetexal on the 15th? That's my hubby's 60th birthday! Unfortunately I won't be feel like celebrating much with him..just n2 days after my EC Good job the kids have it in hand ( they're adults..25, 27 and 31yrs!) So hopefully he'll have a good time.
I hope all goes well for you. At least it's one more ticked off and nearer to the end of treatment xx
Yes, my chemo team keep asking if im on blood thinner injections or the white cell injections or something else. I said well it should be in my notes tbf. I know in a few months I'll be starting prostap which I think is to help my bones??? That's an injection every 3 months. I'll be so glad to see the back of the injections, for some reason they hurt more this time round then the last. I didn't have a horrible cough this time round although the first night after chemo I woke up coughing a lot so had to use my reliever inhaler a couple of times to get it under control.
It strange as I know what my baseline side effects are but cycle 2 seemed to effected me less then this time round, not sure if that's because I only had a 3 week break between them or what.
I always end up with oral thrush after every cycle of chemo too, keep using corsodal mouthwash and nystatin but nothing seems to be working atm. Barely ate or drank the last 2 days as I felt awful and couldn't taste anything, but today is a better day I've eaten more etc. Just wait till Monday and see how I feel etc x
