Hi. Month 4 of letrozole Hot flushes aching joints I have now started with dull headache and feeling a bit dizzy. Has anyone else had this. Can you recommend what I should do please
Hi Marie,
Please try not to worry about the radiotherapy. You won't feel it and the actual zapping is very quick. I only struggled because of the injury to my spine which meant lying on the ridge of the bed was very painful. But the actual RT was fine.
Let us know when you get a date for it
Hi Debs
Will do and thank you for reassurance about RT I suppose like anything in life its the unknown.
I should be used to scans and appointments by now from someone who rarely goes to the doctor let alone a hospital.
This is a great forum to ask questions about the various reactions to letrozole and its variations.
Also I have a friend on tamoxifen she experiences different reactions to myself.
Sore throat is one of them
I'm wondering why it should effect the mouth?
I thought it would be menopausal symptoms
Like hot flushes ,weight gain aches and tiredness
Talking about it and maybe hints on how certain things can help.
I take my tablet at night but wondering if i shoukd take it earlier?
Marie
Hi Marie,
Perhaps just hormonal differences can affect the mouth.
I have the freezing cold rather than hot flushes but then I had the cold shivers when I went through the menopause 4/5 years ago.
I definitely have the weight gain!
