Hi Tigerlily welcome to the forum and sorry to hear how rough things are for your mum.
I imagine that any of the chemo treatments can cause these side effects but if you wanted to post in the Chemo thread in the Breast Cancer thread maybe someone in there may be able to discuss further with you if they have had this type of chemo.
