But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

I felt like walking on air after Reflexology moomy !
we are in new forest and walked into Brockenhurst and back, 1 hr each way. Had lunch at an Italian, quiet and lovely food!
we are moving today as hubbie has no signal and is a bit anxious to check stuff and be on zoom tomorrow evening.
back was painful but I did some exercises and carried on walking with ease! I’m amazed by this!

triangular apple tree on farm!

It certainly does, Mag123 .
This morning is one of disruption, Virgin media are digging a trench in my Close to put their broadband cabling in. I will need full access to all my drive (which can take 3 vehicles widthways) at the weekend and told them so when they knocked at the door last night. They said they will put boards down. I just hope they get a move on and finish as soon as possible.
Have been doing some sorting out this morning, a few more books and DVDs to go to charity shops.

Hi Daisy53 , it’s supposedly kinder to the bones than Letrozole though for me (in my 70s) not quite as fully effective on oestrogen. But I was considered low risk together with already having osteoporosis, that was the reason they wanted me to swap.
I was worried about DVTs as I’ve got varicose veins already, so was prescribed lovely knee high stockings! I find my ankles are a bit stiff, probably lack of oestrogen and the stockings. I get foot cramps quite often (and also other cramps easier than previously too) and yes of course the hot flushes. I just hope those grumbles ease off as the drug leaves my system.
