But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Plants all sorted, Henry’s packing all done.
I kept an eye on where they were ‘find friends’ app is so helpful, and when they were about 30 miles away I took Henry out for a toilet trip. He was so incredibly excited to see them. They’ve now set off and it feels peaceful in the house without a patter of paws to see where I am. And no early need to get up, ha!

My freesat box packed up totally this morning. It had played up a couple of times and I’d managed a factory reset, but this time everything failed. So I phoned the shop I’d bought my hifi equipment from, they had a box and put it aside for me, I caught a bus to go get it. It’s now all plumbed in and working fine, phew! All I’ve lost on the old box is a few recordings I can cope without.

To reply from your query moomy I’m mostly doing ok, but aware of points , yes literally can pin point the aches in both hip joints, and in lower back.
I’ve been aware of points near my coccyx and the muscles. I experimented and exercise definitely helps. It’s ongoing…so yoga therapy is so helpful.
I have reiki session next week, wondering how that will work.
glad you have new freesat, have good time at the Bombe….
I was kept steadily busy, fortunately I could hand over the Enigma demo this afternoon, one of my regular Saturday helpers was doing a guided tour round BP so after that he came to help, he does a really good Enigma demo. Then I continued with how the Bombe helped find the settings.
Tired now…..cooking an easy dinner

Well that was a learning-curve of a day! We were getting a rehearsal in (with menus and the Bombe) and sorted ready for next Monday when a stock broker company are bringing some clients for a corporate visit. All 3 of us were rusty and made mistakes but by 4.30pm we’d got straightened out and could leave, phew! This company (and clients) pay well for their day out! I’m now looking forward to next Monday! But I have to dress up as a nominal ‘Wren’ with shirt, epaulettes and tie!
Tired now though, I made a quick and easy dinner in consequence.

I’m walking on air now, bless him, feet are cared for again! I go every 6 weeks.
bought a loaf from the nearby baker (I did last time and it freezes wonderfully well) and then popped into a nearby jeweller with 2 small items of gold and one of silver, got £55 back!
