But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Daughter had I/V of antibiotic, again this morning, same again tomorrow, plus nebuliser today too, I hope this will knock the threatened pneumonia on the head for her, bless her. They took blood for immune levels for the Oxford department too, it will be interesting to see if her levels have dropped after they worked so hard to get them up over the winter.
And I’m ok.....wondering if I dare walk out in this rain.....have had a refresh and chuck out session of wardrobe and chest of drawers!

Best wishes for your daughter ......
i had a clear out several years ago and threw away some shoes I could have used 3 times since ! But it is therapeutic ! I have a single wardrobe and it is half empty , I don’t buy many clothes , after 3 years of visiting my son in law he said “ I see you have brought your dress again “ ......
best wishes x
It seems daughter is getting there!
and today I feel like Victor Meldrew ‘I cant believe it!’
I had my copy of the allergy clinic letter AND HAD TO PAY FOR IT!!!! It obviously missed the post print out at the hospital. And it’s full of inaccuracies, I’ve emailed PALS accordingly and I’ve booked a phone appointment with my GP to talk it all over. Sadly that’s in 3 weeks....
