But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Home again, relaxing. Yes, hay fever is miserable, I’m pretty certain it’s hazel catkins (lots around here) but I think the Clarytin helped, only needed one lot of beconase.

Hay fever symptoms continued a bit overnight but I’m just left with a bit of chestiness and a stuffy nose this morning (I’m asthmatic) and thankfully daughter took Henry out for a longish walk this morning, so I won’t have to worry too much in the middle of the day.
An easy, lazy day after yesterday’s busy one. I felt really rough last night, needed to take a loperamide and cyclizine, but after a good rest, felt better.

Apart from hayfever I hope you’re doing ok moomy Henry looking good and nice company too. Impressed you do a bit of foraging. I wouldn’t know what I was picking. I think I was much better with natural plants etc when I was younger.

I’m doing ok, though not too sure if it’s hay fever as it all seems to have settled into a typical head cold.
foraging? I know what to look for in just a few things, wouldn’t dare on fungi, but I’m ok with wild garlic, nettles, (which will be coming into season soon) and of course, later on hazelnut nuts, blackberries, wild plums (bullaces), crab apples, elderberries, and if I knew how to easily convert them into syrup, rose hips.
I’m handling the s/e’s of Abemaciclib easier these days, not often needing too much in the way of meds to deal with them.
Hope you’re doing ok, Flossie25 ? Any trips planned?
