But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Interesting day with the Bombe today, we chased some possible faults but ran out of ideas for the final one. Will search next week.
Physio proved what I suspected; an arthritic knee. Will continue to do what I’d already begun, ensuring muscles are as strong as possible to support the joint. He gave me some extra ideas too, and advised a support if I’m doing any rough walking/sport involving any possible twisting movements.. Also discussed use of DeepHeat/ice packs.
we also discussed massage of mx area and that it improves range and ease of movement. I think it may well be the answer.
Had a call from hospital optometrist, she advised reducing and stopping steroid eye drops in recently cataract-op eye and then to restart contact lens wear again.

I was inspired and did a yoga spell including this stretch, and yes, it showed I am still tight. But I think it’s a good idea to repeat daily if I can. Downward dog is a bit tougher than it used to be too.
I also did a good few ‘quads’ exercises and stretches, can’t believe how tight my quads are.
Walk this morning, then changed bedding and did 2 lots of washing.
My favourite tree in the background from a different angle….

and the daffodils I bought, but I suspect it’s those which are making me sneeze more, as I love smelling them!
