But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

That was a warm walk into the village, and an even hotter one back, but I’ve bought the provisions I needed, and had an o/j and soda in the pub before walking back. The Co-op there was so cool I almost wished I could stay!
lunch sat in the shade, with a lovely breeze

We find Wifi and signal very low in lots of places we stay! Our daughter and family looked over thos same ships moomy then we watched them in the sunset as we holidayed in France, they beautiful.
how’s your sting?
Daisy53 thinking of you today!
We are travelling to Hook of Holland tonight and exploring northern Germany. Hubbie has a conference to attend and give a paper (presentation really)
travelling across to berlin before that. The weather across Germany is same heat as here!! 30° yesterday! Found it sticky last night and after infusion of ZA Monday I’m wondering if it upsets sleep as think it happened 12 weeks ago! Will make a note
hope all are ok

Sting, Jayhay ? My treatment worked very well and by the end of the following day I hardly noticed anything! However a wasp entered Goldie-van this evening but was asked to go, and went, phew!
Today was also excellent, went on the submarine and then on the harbour tour, a good choice for a hot day with no breeze. The lovely Welsh couple opposite me on site had given me a lift again (I insisted on paying their park &ride ticket again, and we swapped phone numbers and they offered to bring me back again too!) They are from Carmarthen and know Llansteffan well, where some of hubs’ family still live (yes he was half Welsh) We had chatted a lot before I found out that they were going to Portsmouth and was cheeky enough to ask for a lift, as parking isn’t easy, and Goldie is too high for the park and ride.
A lazy evening, and I’m so pleased I looked into buying a small folding freestanding fan, it’s been so useful today.
Hope Holland and Germany go well, especially your hubs’ presentation, and your sleep improves very soon.

A very lazy day today, it’s been very sunny till about an hour ago, clouded over now. I’ve begun to tidy Goldie up (I am pretty untidy when on site but know exactly where everything goes!)
I’ve actually chatted to my new found Welsh friends, my side of the site is near trees, they were in full sun so invited them over to chat and stay in the cool.
I read quite a while too, 2 books this week, one a short one.
Home tomorrow, I’ve lots to try and do before museum on Saturday, and will need to pace myself as I gather it’s even hotter and I’m on my own.

Safe home, virtually unpacked, washing machine is on and I’ve just sat down to my lunch sandwich which I made yesterday, it’s been in the ‘van fridge!
I started as early as I could manage as I knew it would be a hot drive, it really only got hot enough to feel it between Newbury and Oxford, once through Oxford I only had a further 40-ish mlles.
Home feels coolish as I’d left some of the curtains pulled to, but I guess it will soon feel hot once I’m used to it again!
Thinking of Daisy53 and hoping all has gone well and you’re safely home resting up. Be kind to yourself, but do those shoulder exercises as prescribed!
