Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
I've heard of th boobband, in fact my sister had to invest in one. She is rather well endowed and last year we did a triathlon together. She was so buoyant in the water and her boobs kept getting in the way so she wore the booband under her wetsuit.
she has offered to lend it to me, maybe I'll give it a try ;-)
It wasn't me that started it honestly it was JammyR honest Misssss
I resemble that cat's remark

Can I gatecrash....I haven’t exactly started to walk much post treatment, but I love seeing all your adventures out and about. I loved the Magic Roundabout!
Leolady
reading your posts and all the others when they come through as e-mail notifications is such a morale boost each day. I think you are all amazing.
I found out last week that symptoms I had thought might be connected with the Letrozole (e.g. on Thursday morning I was so dizzy, I had to sit on the floor and phone 111) are in fact to do with heart. I've almost certainly acquired angina. An exercise ECG at Southampton soon then I might have to modify my walking and gym visits! I'll probably have to sit down occasionally at tap dancing - shoc, horror!! :)
Yellow roses, sorry you have a heart problem on top I of eveyhing else!
I hope your treatment helps and you can be active.
Hugs xxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Oh no, YellowRoses, so sorry to read this, I hope they can help and you can still remain as active as possible.
Hugs xxx
