Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Hi,Have just tried to get into “Awake”thread, and found myself in a loop,of posts form 3 years ago....hmmmmmmmmmmmm...(stifles frustration)Anyway...here is a little dress I have mead for African Orphanage...never made one before, but totally loved making it!!I want to see the photo of the babay in it!sorry, just showing off a bit...I know it isn’t walking back to happiness...but in a way,it so is!!xxx
That is really lovely, well done. What a great thing to do. Looks beautifully made.
Walk into town and back for several reasons, delivering sharps bins to a reluctant medical centre; ive had a couple of arguments with them in the last couple of days (tried to tell me pharmacists were handling sharps bins - no they aren’t! And also that 56 tablets should last me 2 months!!!! Stupid idiots!)
also bought some duck fillets for dinner from the butcher, shower gel from Boots for the van, and some plums from the farmers market; plus a sweet pot plant to give as a thank you to the lovely lady who gave me yeast sachets and some strong flour just after lockdown! Picked up our prescriptions on the way home, too.
very windy, hubs said ‘Oh my, your hair!!!!’ When I got home!
Hugs xxx

Hi all, that dress is beautiful Violetsniff, so pretty. Was sorry to hear that can’t log in, so sad to be ‘cut off’. I’ve sent a message to her via the email link. But hopefully she’ll be back with us soon.
Long walk on Thursday, will try to post a photo which has a heron in the middle, I hope it’s visible! Then yesterday the old favourite walk to next town and back, even included cafe lunch outside which was lovely. Saw the ‘water bus’ is running again. Nordic walking with another friend this morning if our poles don’t get blown away - very blustery! Love to all, HFxx
