Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Ooo,wow!HappyFeet1....thankyou SO much I LOVE it
hmmmm where does it lead to.....The Secret Garden perhaps??
you have given me inspiration to continue with my Creative Writing story...At the moment in my story,Lord Montague has rescued his paramour from the bottom of a lake,as she has been shot when they eloped.HOWEVER,there is a knock on his door in the middle of his beer-soaked dreams....and...guess who it is??ha ha
thankyou Xxx
PS I am thinking of starting a story, where we have to add the next 4 words on a new thread, what do you think??xx
Good idea Violetsniff! XX
Cows with their calves on today’s walk, as well as a heron flying overhead but was too slow to get a photo of it. Love to all, HFxx

Raining again in Cumbria so not much walking done but a lovely sky tonight

Great sky Northerner. Got caught in a downpour with the dog today, we sheltered under a tree during the worst of it but still got pretty well watered. Don’t know if the photo shows it but her coat went very floofy afterwards! HFxx

Fabo Sky,Northerner!love it...
and the cows,HappyFeet1...a much maligned animal...but very calm,I think when I watch them munching away....
hoping for cooler weather on the way...but nice to have some rain on my roses...this is a different one,but such a pretty colour ...also,my gallery of masks ...by no means all....xx

A wet day today!
yesterday daughter visited and we went for a walk with the dog ( I guess at 18 months he’s not really a puppy any longer!) and managed to avoid everyone. She is still shielding (at her teams advice and guidance) so felt a bit odd at being indoors with us; but she was on a sofa about 8 feet away from us with a fan going behind her towards us, and we’ve been incredibly careful as she knows.
I continue with daily yoga, about 10-15 minutes.

Glad you saw your daughter moomy, we do need to see our loved ones. We now go inside at my in-laws, we eat outside if possible but sit in for a cuppa afterwards, but well away.
Violetsniff your roses are a gorgeous colour. Also impressed by your mask selection!
Wet walk with a friend today, new walk for a change. Going through the woods we spotted this wonderful fungus. Love to all, HFxx
Thank you!
sometime when the Covid cases decrease in this area I might pop on some walking boots and get out (complete with mask) as I’m really missing walks.
