Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Big hugs to all who need them (including your sis and bro in law, Leolady56! Oh and the hair looks great! )

Hi all,
well from one scenery to another, love them both. And who do you spy in the second one??
Apparantly a solid 10km walked today but stopped for a lovely pub lunch in the middle. Pretty weary now but just one more run in th car to do. Came home to find a fully working kitchen at last but still got the kids to choose a microwave meal as feels like too much work tonight!

Those poor children! I have Esther Rantzen on speed dial should they need it. And you had a lovely pub lunch. TUT TUT TUT.10k wow that was a really good walk.
One very muddy boot photographed in a pub. Good lunch. And a waitress that reminded me of Mrs Overall from Acorn Antiques. Lots of silly humour that caused.
Hope some of you managed a trip out today. Though looking at some weather forecasts many of you have SNOW!!!! again Brrrrr
Take care, keep galloping trotting staggering hobbling etc etc But get out for as long as you can

Wow! Get you lot! Well impressed.
Well I had an unscheduled walk on thurs night...went shopping to large Tesco where there is also a little £shop n BnM etc. Surprisingly my man said he was coming. Siiiiigh!
He is a physical wreck... he used to work in Outdoor Ed so mountaineering, canoeing etc etc and along with the wear and tear that gives bodies, he also fell off a mountain...roped up, so suffered big scale whiplash type injury which wrecked his back.
He had an operation on his shoulder a year ago...apparently there was nothing holding it together and a loose piece of chipped bone in there. Anyway his back is giving him a lot of pain now and effects his mobility and balance...which messes with his alpha male thing and he was out of painkillers. Shopping???
Off we set, two buses to get there and as we arrived I noticed that the lane of traffic that services the bus stops for return journey was CLOSED! He hobbled around shops and had, had enough before I even got to checkout. Then a lonnnnnng walk back into town to get final bus back...me pulling trolley full of grub.
Gluttons for punishment, painkillers then took dog to beach today.
Looks empty but actually there were a lot of other dogs and their people out...the sun was even out and the early morning frost and chill breeze warmed up a few degrees.
Once home I immediately went back to town to get all the stuff missed in the shop last night because...ahem let's just say usual routine interrupted : )
Did arrive back to my tea cooked and ready to serve. After which dog and man and eventually me lay about in stiff, broken heaps!
Take care and to all not quite getting out, hope everyone's pics giving a little lift.
It is really interesting following all the posts here via the e-mnail notifications. The positive attitude is lovely.
I'm finding that the Letrozole are causing some muscle fatigue, and when I'm out, I have to stop and have arrest occasionally. Well, I can't be putting up with that, for goodness' sake!! I'm seeing the Surgeon on 21st March about all the side effects.
