Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Don't worry dear lady if we are off with the men in coats there is one with your name on it too. Partying on RT well really young lady, if you have a headache or a poorly tummy in the morning don't come knocking on this thread. BUT WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO. Looks like a good sunny walk from you then.
Gawd that was all so sudden???? Well you will be added to the SNB list of ladies on the site. Do the exercises they give you they have meant I have been fine and no dragging feeling.
Did a walk but now sat looking at the sun wished I had left it until the afternoon.
Evidence of Bledlow Ridge:
If walking down a steep slope you need to walk back up again and I did it NO STOPS
Hope you all managed to enjoy a trot, gallop or stagger in the sunshine.
I am thinking the next posts may have blossoming daffs

Beautiful photos, you obviously live in a lovely area!
Yes I will do any exercises I’m given, ‘I’m a good girl, I am’
And yes, that really was all of a sudden! They have my anaesthetic history from the private hospital where I had the most recent surgery, yay!

Lovely outside photos....I’m afraid I was too cold and blagged a lift off my brother!(!I have been soooooo cold in my lil flat wearing scarf for 24 hours).sat with my sister in law doing my tapestry in their warm house, chewing the cud, then my 5 - year old (great-)niece tried on some ballet pumps I had been keeping for her,and she pretended to do some ballet, and my nephew his flat cap which I found in the Sales. He loved it.Looked like a mini Peaky Blinder..It was lovely, and doesnt happen often enough!!
moomy....the answer, dear moomy,to that question is,”in April I will be saying,’oh,yes, and I’m a cancer survivor’”...takes a while to realise....but I see my mastctomy as a sort of War wound, now. Is that weird?Am a bit proud of it in a way...we have been there and come theough it.

Hi All
Rubbish excuse number 75. I had my hair cut today but parked away from the town and walked in and out. So only 2/3 km.
Still the hair looks good. Hope you agree?
Tomorrow - before it rains - a walk. A chat and catch up with a new friend plus a cheeky lunch.
Mmmmm Violetsniff as I am 174cm think that is 5ft 10 in - in old money - that hip bath would be no good to me. But it looks lovely
moomy my Bro in law is at a hospital in Hull at present having RT. I can hear my sister cussing this end of the county. They have designated parking slots for people on RT but they are used by all and sundry
