Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Today’s walk was a supermarket shop! And decent exercise too as trolleys are always recalcitrant!

Happy New Year Everyone!
so yesterday I awoke to do a run/walk upto the top of our local hill called Bennachie to watch the first sunrise of the year. It was a wonderful experience
But nothing prepared me for this mornings sunrise. It literally woke me up it was that bright. Here’s some photos and hand on heart I’ve not enhanced them in any way. Never seen a sunrise like it!!

Sorry the quality is a bit iffy ( it won’t let me upload them unless the files are small) but hopefully you get the idea!
Best wishes Di xx
Stunning photos , the colours are just amazing! Xx
looks great Yanyan, well done with your sunrise run/walk I bet it was cold. Very special though.
had a short walk yesterday, my dog is getting so slow now it takes twice as long to get round the field these days!
So sorry posted twice...am having a technipuzzle day and getting confused.Tried to delete but wont let me....
Anyway...I don’t like little gpdoggies,I have to say...(love big ones)but this little one was so pretty!!
there seemed to be a competition for the teeniest dogs in the world in town that day...
the outside plant I took cos I loved the decoration and also loved the fact that somebody without a garden was cheering up her window sill...and the other was my favourite photo over Christmas.
who would have thought we would still be having lovely sunny days?Amazing xxxx
So I’ve got my 4th chemo this coming Tuesday but I just about managed a 8.5km run this morning with some friends from my running club. It’s getting harder though. I’m not as active as I was overall and the effects of chemo have made their mark, but I’m still trying to keep going.
Then tonight weve been rewarded with yet another beautiful sunset. It’s been a magical week xx
