Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.

Peaspudding!Northerner!!I used to live with a lady from Newcastle and she used to love it...and told me how it is made....
yes,I am afraid I can’t cook for toffee, but my Mama could, and she made mouthwatering pastry.I used to study her cookbook.the only time since then that I have had such lovely pastry was at our K n Natter Christmas meal when we were offered home made mince pies...they reminded me of hers,so thin and melting in the mouth.
Am off to town soon...oh dear shall I get through the hords?!?!?I hate all the pushing and shoving...but must get a pressie for my 10-year old great nephew ,and one for the children to give their Granpa and Dad.
I will have to target my shops and route.Hmmm A military excercise....Xxxx
I hope you survived the shops Violetsniff. I am going to do my supermarket shop tomorrow then that’s it.
It has stopped raining HURRAH had a very muddy sloshy walk but it was lovely to see blue sky and a bit of sunshine.
Been VERY lazy today, back to the museum tomorrow, supermarket shop on the way home, then defrost our fillet steak for the day! We are having our ‘Christmas’ with the whole family plus dogs the weekend after new year!
hugs xxx
Moomy
Great pictures, great achievements on here. seaspirit44 good to see you’re out walking. I’ve still been walking... yoga not on over the Christmas and new year weeks but doing some at home ... wiifit supplemental. I could be better but the weather has been rubbishy. Maybe I’m in hibernation mode. As moomy said, somewhere, it’s the Solstice today, days will start to get longer and Spring is on its way.
keep moving

Happy Christmas Eve to all, hoping for some Christmas walks in the next few days. Love to all, HFxx
