Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
look what I found for you can procrastinate on a walk now .
I missed you this morning had to get out early before antisickness med wore off .
3000 steps just to shops no marzipan anywhere !! and food bank to drop off donations . Off for chemo nap

Confession, I did 20 minutes on the wii instead of a walk today as the weather looks distinctly dodgy!

Hi all, at last got back to Nordic walking today after missing 2 weeks because of skin infection/ mastitis and appointments. Dodged the rain but all very boggy underfoot. No photos but here’s a hairy cow from Sunday’s dog walk....Love to all, HFxx
Don’t know about the wii board, my balance is pretty dire, Northerner!

Just off to read some other posts...hmmm hm hmmmmm....
Right,thats done...
oh poor moomy....what a wet scene...hope you are not flooded in to your house?
HappyFeet1...loving your soggy cow!!!
WhatHappened...I think I may have missed something...are you poorly?hope you get well soon.
well I am being rather lazy today....
have had an extraordinarily busy week, plus some Political insomnia, and today am resting...having done all housework in one fell swoop when my old Nursey friends came to visit earlier in the week.
so anyway this morning another friend popped by and bought a small gift for me.She always comes round the door with an Advent calender every Christmas, but she said she knew I would have eaten it all(I had)so she bought me a bar of white cho to top up!,Wow!am so lucky with my frinds!!!
anyway we sat and talked, and she has lost her Dad recently and I really felt for her and just let her let it all out. Then I found an old “single rose “vase among my things and gave her a little money and told her to get herself a single rose for herself to look at over Christmas.Pressies really don’t have to cost a lot and I know she will appreciate it.
then I peessed my nose against the window and watched the sad old rain fall continuously against the window....and decided not to go out,but to watch a catchup of Poirot instead!!
Hi Violetsniff, no we are well above that flooded road, quite a hill to climb from there back home, thankfully! It’s a floodable area, 3 rivers join up nearby with the Great Ouse which wends its way eventually into the Wash.
