Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Lovely this morning so got out for a walk before the Rugby ... chucked it down from MD so nothing else done
Lovely pics as usual.
Great you’re enjoying swimming

Managed to dodge the worst of the rain today, hiding in cafes during the worst showers. Good walk to next town, carpets of leaves around and also more fungi, this time fairy trays on a tree trunk....
Hope to join you swimming next week . Happy walking/ swimming/ puddle splashing/ cafe visiting to all. HFxx

A very funny walk this afternoon, two miles done with one refusal (I’m not sure what was in his mind but I sat on a garden wall while he sat trying to decide what to do!) and 4 treats for good behaviour but one telling off for not being good when faced with another dog. I suspect part of the problem is that he’s a bit of a nervy pooch and a sudden appearance worries him?

You have done great with Stanley walks Moomy, you will miss him when he goes back home! The chickens are doing really well, laying every day and their feathers have mostly grown back, a couple have still got bald bottoms but it’s improving!
Yesterday here was blowing a gale and very wet, totally different today and it felt so warm in the sunshine.
Amalie....you sent the wind down to us! So strong and with torrential showers we can't walk across to the car to go out!
Global warming did they say?
Nice to see the sunshine and blue sky in your photo though.....
Hi All
still on gentle excercise day 5 but managed a little wander around a craft fayre and the ground at a local hotel .
Back for lunch then nap !
