Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Wow I love puffins, where was that?
My dog is very good now, and doesn't pull normally, but like you say she would lunge towards something or someone exciting so I must be patient. After the nurse has been i will try a short stroll
The puffins were on the Farne Islands, I did a boat trip from Seahouses, just down the coast from Berwick upon Tweed where I was staying in a caravan for a few days. The puffins were so cute, lots of them around the boat both in the sea and flying past, with little eels in their mouths for their pufflings! Such sweet looking birds. Have only seen them once before, on another boat trip but from North Berwick.
Definitely good to get out for a stroll if you feel up to it. Just getting moving is good I think but completely at your own pace. Xx

Photos from evening stroll on Wednesday, sea was so calm.

You’re doing great Sabrina22
Joe Wicks this morning and a little gardening this afternoon. Perfect day for doing not much and having ice cream. Might try out my new walking boots insoles later. Tomorrow will be good for gardening as it’ll be a tad cooler and hedges/mowing to be done. Watching a bit of Glasto before I get tea ready.

At last managed a waterpark visit now it is cooler. The swan family I have been following were there, cygnets much bigger.
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Lovely pic of swans seaspirit44 and good you got out for your walk. Weather is just right today for walking as there is a bit of a breeze. JW hiit exercise done before a walk to GP for bloods. Washing, some housework and gardening is the order of today’s exercise with maybe another walk later. New insole isn’t too bad but I could do with bigger socks as usual size in walking boots scrunch toes a bit ( I have a size bigger in boots).
