So in   5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.

Why in the last few days have I become incredibly tired and emotional ??
Did anyone else feel the same?

    Back on

    Can’t sleep

    Sending back the meditation app

    So glad I came on

Jammy and Jacks sniggering away like a 14 yr old on school camp. Frogs at my daughters wedding . Well hell yes . Lily pads an optional extra. Think dearest Mr Leo might baulk at paying for a lily pad each. Any chance of squeezing up. Do make sure we all balance the lopsided ness - is that a word ????

Of course a set of bridesmaids dressed as frogs well there’s a thunk.

I too read the lady from Wales post about no RT. For the frogs sake. But NHS Wales and Scotland are separate entities and they do get free meds! Balance free meds against RT well for us a no brainer

So shall I attempt more combat zzzz or check out other Fred’s whoops threads

Whirley gig mind now why would that be?

Roll on 7.30 I can justifyably - did I just make up another worm - be up

    Leolady now a flipping wake

    Nooooooo

I just wrote an amazing reply

I’m awake don’t want to be

And lots of references to weddings and frogs

Being lopsided on a lily pad

    Frog bridesmaid dresses

    And Welsh NHS

    And I lost it all

I mean the total indignity of being tired, awake and  and and

  • LL I’m still awake unfortunately, so my 9.15 to bed has t worked.

I do that most times I’m on here. I think it’s to do with the ipad/phone.  I type my whole post, move and turn the iPad or phone to the side and it wipes the message out.

One evening I did the same message about 4 times because my OH talked to me and I put the iPad down to listen. Picked it up and it was all gone, I had to go out of the room do the post and return once it was sent.

I’m sure you will be back in full flow in the morning, cheering is all up.

Hi just a quick reply to lady that had WLE as I had that and from Wales and I'm 71 and having RT next month .Seems different hospitals have different ways of doing things but if RT needed it should be done no matter what age Fran xxx

  • Crazy Fran, I totally agree. I’m not sure what thread I saw her on as I’m not getting notifications from Macmillan still. Xx

    Hi

The email notifications server went down over the weekend which has now been restarted by the 'devs' so you should start getting emails through shortly :)

Typically the gremlins always seem to appear at the weekend...

  • Well it’s melt down time for me this morning. Chemo start date is here and it’s the 15th for meeting the chemo nurses, 2 and a half hour appointment explaining everything and questions answered.

1st chemo starts on the 18th, 10 days away.

Thought I was there on the acceptance but it reduced me to a panic attack and a snivelling wreck. All of the WTF’s are bombarding me and I feel like a small child in need of a cuddle from my mum and dad.

I’m sure it will pass and I will get my head around it as the day goes on.

Sorry this is an all about me post so far.

Hope you ladies are ok, LL are you back from your appointment yet?

Jolly tomorrow you will get the answers you need.

Jammy how did getting Libby to school this morning go?

Ali and Bigguy hope you are both ok.

    Love to you all xxxxxxxx

    8888888 ++++++++ %%%%%%% $$$$$$ @@@@@@@ ?????????

That my lovelies is a full and comprehensive list of all the known swear words in my vocab.

Feel free to add any you know too.

So 10 am appointment. At 11.30 I saw a someone.

He told me they still have not got clear margins. In fact NOT 2m It was 20mm and now 24mm. So I am booked in for another op on Friday. Apparently the letter that stated 2mm was incorrect. I did have it with me so flapped it in the guy's face.

Embarrassingly I lost the plot. How what where why. Really 3 ops what the *********** is going wrong. I didn't resort to swearing thanks to a calming hand from hubby

Sadly the answers weren't the best. I even got the 'how lucky you are. 20-30 years ago'. I think they'll be able to sew his hum hums back on. After I climbed out of his throat and dropped the condescending word. Hubby got me to calm down. I even said well do a MX. That's not needed.

So after pre op! Yes apparently I was 2 days over the 3 month cut off. I got home by 1.30. The pre op meant I hadn't the time to cry my eyes out or hit a wall

So I get the top guy on Friday. My list of questions are growing.

Last night we had decided to seek a bit of sun before RT. Well like others that's now ********** up.

Two weeks before  see someone again

    Two weeks for onco referral
