So in  5 days time I have the operation to remove the tumour - randomly known as Ian.
JammyR - Im shocked you still havent had your mammogram results, that is rubbish as when i went for mine i sat in the waiting room and they gave me the results 10minutes later so it really doesnt take long backlog or not! Keep mythering them lovely sometimes its the only way of getting things pushed along! I hope you are ok apart from the rubbish wait but im sure if there was a concern they would have been in touch before now! Xx
Ive tried to post on here last week but it flipping disappeared when i tried to post it! I hope this message gets through, i still get no notifications at all which saddens me as i loved getting updates so im manually reading through the last fee weeks news to catch up with you all!
Leolady56- Fabulous photos, looks like you've been on the gallop again, hope you are ok with your cardi thingy majig and the flipping awful Letrozole!
Well i shall be having surgery on Thursday to have a Salpingo oopherectomy, basically oophing my ovaries out for good as i no longer need them and as there was a lot of confusion between consultants whether im post menopausal or not i requested to get them out! Thought it was a good idea at the time but now feeling a bit nervous! Ive also asked for a bisphosphonates infusion too which i will have next week!
I think ive turned into a surgery/treatment junky only not giving me the same results as plastic surgery hehee!
Well i hope everyone else is ok and living life to the full, big hugs to you all Deb xx
Leolady56- wow that is some snowfall, lovely garden too!! Well we have had snow but its cleared a bit now, hoping it stays that way so i can make the 20mile trip to the hospital on Thursday but we did have a bit over in Staffordshire Moorlands earlier! You just need to build a snowman now xx
Hope today has gone well and you are quickly home beimg looked after by Mr Deb09 and the twins. Sending healing vibes.
How is everyone else?
Finally got mammo results after just 5 weeks wait! All clear, phew. Havent had letter but kund nurse rang me to put as knew I was anxious...gonna send her a big box of chocolates!
Love to all x
Yay JammyR
fantastic news, so pleased for you and there are some kind people around. Still you shouldn’t have had to wait so long.
Makes me so cross, other places manage to do it on the spot or within a couple of days, they need their knuckles rapped
have you anything planned to celebrate?
Thanks! Am currently off work with flu type bug...but on the mend so going out for tea on Sunday... me and hubby want to go to different places so I suggested letting Libby chose as she has been so good.... I knew her favorite place is my favorite place too so feeling smug!
ALIBLUE - Thankyou, well my ovaries have now been oophed out and kicked to the kerb but due to waiting for over 20hours for the operation unable to have water or food by the time id had the procedure the copius amounts of fluid they then had me drinking i was unable to wee, so ive had a not so lovely overnight stay at the nhs hotel having bladder scans until able to empty my bladder!
Well at 1am the flood gates opened and with some water related picture messages as encouragement to give me the urge to pee from our lovely Leolady56 i finally was able to deliver a tsunami lol! Hopefully home soon to rest my achy tummy!
Heres hoping all you other ladies had a better night than me, love to you all, Debxx
