Although if you are ever having a bad day and need a giggle, it’s worth a look through! We have had some serious giggles over the years! 

Sorry to read that you are joining us with Cancer that has already spread to bones, although hopefully I can reassure you a little by saying I was diagnosed with secondaries to the bone at the end of 2015! I’m still here and other than my current ‘hiccup’ with the new treatment I’m on. I’m doing okay! 
Obviously I’m completely Loopy, but you’ll get used to me and all the other ‘Fruit Loops’! But don’t panic Hun…..

Dear Lacomtekp , I’m beginning to think of asking for the lower dose of Abemaciclib as nausea still occasionally raises its head; like this morning! But otherwise it’s treating me pretty well, really. Yes the cold is easing, I’ve now had 3 nights without waking with the cough, which is great. Son had the same  bug about 6-8 weeks back and said it seemed to take ages to go, so to be patient. Daughter is improving too, at last.

Good morning....

LP is up bright and early again but we had to get up today. The hospital for my mammogram is an hour away. Hopefully once it's light, it will be another beautiful morning and LP will enjoy the ride. I know he will behave because he knows one of the best patisseries is just opposite the hospital.

He had a good day yesterday.  He actually enjoyed the sun. We had the warmest temps in the country so we were gardening in tee shirts. We had climbing roses to plant on a wall where some old passion flowers had died. I think they had got too dry when it was very hot and I didn't notice. The roses are special because mum chose them before she died. We had ordered Nov delivery because it's the best time to plant not realising she would never see them flower. But they will always be her roses....LP was very grown up about the emotion. He can be very kind.....He got a bit dirty and wasn't so keen on the shower but I promised coffee and cake and it was sufficient a bribe on a beautiful day.

He was tired enough to sleep all night after a very substantial tea of cake and pastries!

Mammogram clear.....LP and OH have been shopping. I daren't imagine what LP got up to but I think OH's hair is greyer than usual!

To celebrate the good results we went for tea and cakes. As you can imagine LP was spoilt for choice....

I fear he may be sick tonight . Tomorrow we have our town's Christmas celebrations and a proper Christmas market in chalets so LP should get his shopping finished.

Thank you, all done, being kept in overnight just as a precaution.   Bit emotional at times, no bed available on a ward so stuck in recovery, probably for the night unless there is a late discharge. 

I guess LP won't be wanting to share my biscuits and sticky toffee pudding,  but I bet he will give it a good try!
