Hi Lacomtekp,
A certain VERY excited little Guinea Pig is on his way to you! After weeks of blood tests and hospital visits, he’s bored of my company and looking forward to seeing you! Even if it involves more hospital visits
He has a Bag full of treats, which is meant for you and your Hubby! However I have no control over whether it will get to you!! But I hope so!

Have a great time together! Hope he behaves and brings you lots of laughter along with the mischief!
Good Luck with your appointments Hun. I will be thinking of you!
I am on my third week off of Ribociclib because my kidneys and Liver REALLY don’t like it! Awaiting an ultrasound to check there’s nothing else going on, but it’s most likely the drug.
Nothing is ever simple, is it! Anyway as always I plod on and TRY not to moan too much!!
Sending much love to all. Sal xxxx
Any chance I can borrow LP on Friday, got my surgery and a mischievous friend in my hospital gown pocket sounds like the ideal tonic for both myself and my family.
Is he chatty, I love guinea pig squeaks.
Hi Harvestmoon in answer to your Question LP NEVER stops talking.... unless he's eating!
Of Course he's going to be away with Lacomtekp however the joy of LP is that he can be in 2 sometimes 3 places at once. So of course he'll be with you on Friday. Although not sure I'd hide him in your hospital gown. Think the surgeon might get a fright if LP suddenly popped up mid surgery. So perhaps let him sit on the bed with you and then when you go off to sleep you can think of all the trouble you'll have to deal with when you wake up.... because he'll of managed to get up to some sort of mischief... he always does!! Don't be fooled by that cute little face...

Wishing you all the best for Friday and looking forward to hearing what LP got up too love Sal xxxx
Just to let you all know that LP arrived safely on 17.00 train at Chalais.LondonLass had asked if he could have a holiday. He has eaten a good tea......now there's a surprise.......but is travel weary and has gone for an early night. I imagine he will be up early tomorrow.....but we have a quiet day planned as Friday and Saturday are going to be manic. Photo of LP's tea from the café but as usual he bewitched the owner and got extra chips!
Good morning....LP is up!
I've had to explain to him that we can't do a lot in the dark. He's disappointed we don't have croissants for breakfast every day.....OH is type 1 diabetic. That would not be a sensible diet so it will toast or porridge....whichever suits LP best.
We will have a walk before breakfast when it's light. Forecast is a sunny 16° so he can help me in the garden later and enjoy the sun.
Maybe ....if he behaves....a trip to the supermarket for some treats.......
I see he will be extra busy tomorrow with an operation as well as my mammogram/ echogram. I hope the operation goes well. I may be too busy controlling LP.....there are cakes near the radiography department.....and have an early rv myself ....to send my wishes but I will be thinking of youHarvestmoon .
LondonLass I hope they start making better drug decisions for you soon. It certainly isn't pleasant at the moment.
moomy How are you this week? I hope at least the cold is improving but these chemo drugs do seem to be giving you a battering too.
Take care everyone. I can't scroll back to list everyone on treatment but when you post, I do read it and always think of you. Nine years ago, I reacted very badly to chemo so I can empathize but tomorrow is my nine year check....I'm still here and very grateful despite those dark days in 2015/16.
Have a good day.....LP don't touch that....it's lunch!
Hi, jumping in here! I'm picking up that LP is a cheeky guinea pig pal?! (I haven't read all 4762 pages of previous posts ) I first thought dog, then child from last post before reading back a bit! Just found out my early stage IDC is already in my bones so switch from surgery to oncology for chemo. And palliative treatment team for pain management which I would welcome so much. Just ordered a seconded heated blanket so I can sit on one for my back pain and be toasty snuggled on top too. It's gonna be a cosy winter, my cat shall be delighted!!
Harvest moon - wishing you such good things for surgery and recovery.
BoxOfFrogs ...so pleased you found us. Yes, LP is a magic guinea pig who enables us to be humorous and imaginative at the worst of times. Created by LondonLass many years ago, I'm sure she will be on here soon to both welcome you and support you.
Lp and I have been for our walk. It's a beautiful late November morning and sunrise.

You're obviously farther south, it's still dark here in Scotland, just dawning. Stayed overnight with a friend and even the doggo is still slumbering!
I have an owl pocket rider who's over 20 now! She comes to everything medical with me. Think her and LP will become firm friends
