Thank you Karen, blessed with a loving family who I think have suffered more than me today. They have gone off to the fish and chip shop to recharge their batteries.
Glad to see you are travelling and living, I am hopeful that it won't be long until I can do the same. First hurdle leapt over, couple of weeks to find out how long the course will be. May be a steeplechase rather than a sprint but at least now I can see the finishing line!
Good news Lacomtekp Thanks for all the LP tales xxx
Get well soon Harvestmoon take care of yourself xxx
Thank you so much, everyone's support is fantastic and makes me feel like I am not alone in hospital x
Loving the piggies, will see my daughters two soon, Loki and Noah xxx
LondonLass .....Did you say you were having treatment today too? Hope everything went ok.
Night fruit loops. Harvestmoon I hope you feel better quickly ️ LondonLass really hope they can sort out your drugs so you’re more comfortable
️ moomy same to you really, hope you feel better soon
️ BoxOfFrogs welcome, love the name and that alone tells me you’ll fit right in. Lacomtekp so delighted you’ve got the all clear again. Not much to report from here. Just usual life stuff, work is crazy, some of these kids are feral and they’re only 4/5
an old friend has been in hospital for a month with a broken hip but he’s just got home today so that’ll mean not visiting the hospital every other day so life might get easier, bless him he’s 95 but a bright shining light, I wish I had his energy (before the fall) now!! Love to all xx
Hi all. Harvestmoon pleased to hear that all went well. Hope you manage a good nights sleep…. Although unlikely in hospital. Hope you/LP enjoyed the pudding! Xx
Lacomtekp CONGRATULATIONS on another all clear! So pleased to hear that! Now you can relax and have some more fun with LP! Xx
Oh and in answer to your question. Yes I had my Fulvestrant injections today. The unit was running 2hrs behind time. In the end I was called into the haematology department to have the injections. They help out when they are able. Lovely nurse but my goodness the injections HURT this time! Brought tears to my eyes and I’m no wimp, just look at a Zoladex needle and you’ll see that! But this REALLY stung.
Although not so funny story! It didn’t hurt half as much as tonight when I went to pull my underwear down to have a wee and got my thumb stuck in the lint and tape that she had put over the injection site. Good God I nearly ripped half my skin off. I squealed like a little piggy, then couldn’t help laughing at how stupid it was!! But it’s sore now!!
Anyway enough of my silliness! Time for everyone to go to sleep! Not long now till the Christmas celebrations begin…..if you haven’t started already!
Night night Fruit Loops. Love you xxxxx
LondonLass ....I hope the injection site is settling down by now. LP will be coming home on tonight's Eurostar. He has enjoyed himself today. The market was fun and it's good to support the local school and other organisations. He has done his Christmas shopping. He wants to keep the contents secret so he had a word with santa who will transport the packets on the 24th to Exeter.
Take care. LP is ready for his next adventure.....Did someone say Scotland?
