Thank you for all fashion advice!
Due to the ice and snow I had to wear flat shoes (black patent) and with the pashmina wrapped round my shoulders I felt suitably dressed down and comfortable.
We had a super time xxx
Glad you enjoyed it, Snowys Mum
just back from son’s orchestral concert, the last piece was Bernstein’s music to West Side Story, going to need to revisit the film!
night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

Good morning...
It was a very beautiful start to the day.
It's going to be mild and sunny but there is a strong wind. I've put my washing out but it's triple pegged!
Snowys Mum ....I'm imaging your red pashmina over the pretty dress and think you must have looked lovely.
LondonLass ....I'll collect LP from the station at about 17.00 on Wednesday. Tell him to take a taxi across Paris from the Gare de Nord( Eurostar terminus) to Montparnasse as there are a lot of old steps and a travelator if he uses the metro. I wouldn't want him to get squashed by the rushing crowds because it's always busy....lots of big cases too. Tell him I have plans for his treats and Christmas shopping.
moomy .....Enjoy the film. One of the best but I defy you not to cry.....the lyrics alone bring tears to my eyes!
Please take care everyone in this dreadful weather. Flooding forecast again now with snow melt water and heavy rain. I hope most of you can stay home and don't have urgent appointments tomorrow for treatments .
Love Karen
I had tears even during the music, Lacomtekp ! Yes I cried the first time I saw the film. I’ve ordered it on DVD as it doesn’t seem to be available via the media I’ve got at present. Also ordered the remake.
My, the weather is really wild, it isn’t raining (just at this moment!) but the sky is dark and it’s really windy. Stay safe, all!

I hope you've gone back to sleep now. It's such a bleak night and I've woken up to a wet and windy morning.
Is something particularly worrying youRachCrumble79 ? Please talk to us if there is.
I have lit the fire. ..not because it's cold....but because it's so grey and depressing.
LP is coming this week. I hope the weather improves. LondonLass says LP wants to go Christmas shopping. Sssh! ....secretly ladies( and gents) I need some ideas for his lovely family remembering he will need to get them home so probably not the new ironing board you were hoping for LondonLass !!!
Seriously though if new comers are reading this and think we're daft....you're right....but you'll find it's so much easier to get through dreadful worries and unpleasant treatments if you can be side tracked by light humour. That's why LondonLass introduced us to LP....our magical, mischievous lucky mascot who will go to anyones and everyones appointments with them. Having a bit of fun with LP takes the mind away from reality for just a little while. This week he's coming with me for my mammogram and echographie. I'm sure all is well but LP will stop the What ifs taking over.
Now back to his Christmas Shopping List. Take care everyone. Stay dry if you can....
I hope you managed a bit more sleep, RachCrumble79 ?
Im really tired at the present, keep falling asleep while tv is on, even when the programme is interesting!
night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish
