.
Your mum is having such a happy life with you @lacomtekp xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
First attempt at chocolate bark not bad but will make sure got the proper bits and bobs next week so snowmen and reindeer are more identifiable lol

Ooo!can I have some?@Lacomptekp and @Northerner??
What gorgeous photos all!
isn’t the snow photogenic? However I know a few people who, like me have only been out once or twice this week.
the ice on pavements made it so we couldn’t walk out unless we had a big strong arm to hold on to…so ,in the absence of that…no alternative,,
I got a taxi to Church this morning and thought you might like the photos.
I had a lovely time seeing my friends but was upset as one has just learnt she has Grade 3 cancer.Poor thing looked so woebegone, and her husband seems to have aged considerably.
I was glad I went even if it was just for that..as I told her my operation and she was surprised.Oh yes we keep big secrets in our chests!
she asked for my email and I gave it her and put my phone number on and said to ring and we could talk more if she liked.xxx

Reindeer and sledge curtesy of my great-nephew and -neice xx(yes the house does light up and I do have the batteries but I can’t open the light box to put them in!(life is hard being me!)xx
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

Hello Fruit Loops,
I've been catching up on all the posts, so much is going on with everyone - my life seems to be sleeping and 'trying' to move forward hahaha
Dearest Helen Snowys Mom I am so, so very sorry to read about dear Graham passing. You know 9 is a great age and if you consider the life you gave Graham well it was a very happy, loved and cared for life - some little piggy's never get this type of love in an entire lifetime - Graham, we will all miss you so very much and I know you would welcome Scarlett O'Hara with open paws into your mums life.... mom needs her little piggies
Mag123 Your Degas' sound so cute, bet you get lots of snuggles with these - I'm sure many of us would love to see some photos.
Lacomtekp Your dear mum looks well and looks like life is treating her well with you. With regards to the cataracts I believe the operation is a 'quick in and out the same day' - the rest for rest of the day and wear eye patch for about 2 days (this could of all changed) - My mum had hers removed around 12 years or more ago.... she didn't know she needed them removed..... and afterwards 'could not believe the difference' - mum would tell everyone and anyone 'if you need them doing - get them done, its a quick operation and a world of difference'.
Northerner The chocolate bark looks delicious - I will say I thought it was to look like 'tree bark' - however it looked very tasty
LondonLass I hope you and Bella are okay and are ready for Christmas - you know me, I'm still trying to get there arrrrrghhhh
Grogg Your sewing is really good, you have come so far - I so wished I could knit, mum tried to teach me on many occasions - with me being left handed - it didn't really work out well..... hence, I still can't knit
Christmas as arrived at ours, although the presents and cards are still to be done - 0www I so wished I could get them done in next few days - it would be so lovely for once to be 'ready' for Christmas or just ready for something yahhhyy
With this said, I am going - see if I can get anything else done before falling to sleep.
Sending great big hugs and loads of love to everyone .....
Please remember if you are new to this group and or thread - don't worry or stress alone - we are here to help you - between us all I have to say we are an amazing support group to each other
